About Us

Thursday nights on E 3rd Street have a rhythm to them. The regulars file in, the bartender already knows their order, and somewhere near the back someone is laughing loud enough that you want to find out why. That is Thirsty Thursday at the Rushville Elks Lodge, and it has been drawing locals back week after week for good reason.

The wings alone would justify the trip. Members rave that they come out twice the size of what you get at the chains, cost half as much, and taste better than either. Pair that with dollar draft beers and a crowd that treats first-timers like regulars, and you start to understand why this place holds a 4.2-star rating from 57 reviewers who did not hold back their enthusiasm.

The Elks Lodge is a chapter of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks, one of the oldest fraternal organizations in America, but what sets this Rushville location apart is how thoroughly it has become a neighborhood anchor. Dinners are reasonably priced, service is personal, and the atmosphere is the kind that makes a quick drink turn into a two-hour visit.

What We Offer

The Lodge delivers a full-service bar and dining experience without the inflated prices of a commercial restaurant. Thursday specials anchor the weekly calendar, featuring dollar draft beers and generously portioned wings that have become something of a local legend among members and guests alike.

Beyond the bar, the Lodge hosts community dinners, member events, and charitable fundraisers that support causes across Rushville, Indiana and the wider Elks national network. The dining room is available for private gatherings, and membership opens access to reciprocal visiting privileges at Elks lodges across the country.

Membership in the BPOE also connects you to scholarship programs, veteran support initiatives, and youth activities that the national organization funds each year. Whether you join for the camaraderie, the food, or the mission, you will find more reasons to stay once you walk through the door.

The Elks gave America
Flag Day.

Long before it was a national observance, the Order set aside June 14th to honor the flag. Patriotism has always been one of our cardinal principles, and every lodge meeting still closes the same way it has for over a century.
